This is a taste of what is available on the day.

Foraging - Wild Food tours will take place around the park and will start at 12 noon and 2pm.

Barter Area - swap your potatoes for jam! Bring any surplus produce you have and swap it for something you would like to try. You can bring surplus fruit and vegetables, preserves, jams, pickles anything edible so long as you have made (or grown) it yourself.
Home Brewing - Country Wines, courtesy of Hucknall Wine Circle (strictly over 18's only).

Press your own apple juice - bring your own apples and use our tradition press and crusher>

Bread making 12noon until 3pm (kindly provided by Green's Windmill).

EcoTeams Make a real difference – join an EcoTeam. An EcoTeam is a group of 6-8 local people who meet to discover simple, effective changes for a more environmentally friendly lifestyle and is a great way to meet new people in your local area. Film: The Power of Community

This film will be played throughout the day in the media room at Green's Mill, copies will be on sale on the day (limited stocks).

When Cuba lost access to Soviet oil in the early 1990s, the country faced an immediate crisis – feeding the population – and an ongoing challenge: how to create a new low-energy society. This film tells the story of the Cuban people's hardship, ingenuity, and triumph over sudden adversity – through cooperation, conservation, and community.
