Come along to an open cafe style event hosted bt Transition Nottingham, to discuss this vital question. The aim is to bring our ideas and creativity to the discussion, and also to come up with an action plan of how to take things forward.

Nottingham city council are forming a strategy about the futire of Nottinghma’s allotments, but in order to do this they need input from you the public.
Abundance in Nottingham

This Urban Harvest, Abundance is coming to Nottingham. Orginating from Sheffield, Abundance volunteers find unharvested fruit in parks, canalsides or private gardens, gather the fruit and distrubes it to groups who need it. If you would like to find out more about this exciting and dynamic group of urban gatherers, come and meet them at the Urban Harvest Festival.
Bring your surplus produce
We will be having a barter area
Where you will be able to swap produce you have grown, canned, pickled, preserved in some way.

Apple Pressing is back!
Last year we pressed who knows how may apples – can we go better this year?
Start collecting your windfalls the week before the festival and bring them along on the day to make some juice. Tell all your friends and fellow allotment holders too.

Volunteers needed
Transition Nottingham has been offered to hold a stall at ‘The Big Wheel’s Free Festival…‘ and we are looking for volunteers for the day (or part of the day). We will be using this opportunity to promote the Urban Harvest Festival so if you would like to help out contact Clare on 07914183457.
