*C.A.T. is a popular mid-wales visitor centre set in beautiful Snowdownia. The visitor centre is open throughout the year except for Christmas and mid-Janurary. The two new Waste & Recycling and Energy & Power pavillions are full of interactive displays demonstrating the impact our lives have on the world and exploring solutions to environmental probelms in a refreshingly positive way. Our new eco-house now includes a modern interior, rainwater harvesting facilities, an organic garden, eco-friendly appliances and household products - all designed to minimise the environmental impacts of the home.
